north of here, was instantly killed
Thursday afternoon by the' accidental
discharge of a shotgun her husband
was s carrying, according to a report
received by Coroner Joe Chamber
lain. The accident occurred at the Yenney
farm home, while the two were walking
up Dry creek to make some repairs
on an Irrigation ditch, the ' report
stated. Yenney took a shotgun along
to kill any grouse that he might see.

Considerable dry rot is in the local
fWH after it has been on the market
several days, and dealers are endeav-
ortng: to get rid of their stocks as soon
as possible. The peaches are not badly
Injured and can be used for canning,
since all that is necessary is cutting
out the small spots of the rot.
Tomatoes' and pears are .coming in'
irbod at present, and should be taken
.before very soon if the better quality
