DO BTJSIJTESS IX SMALL LOTS
( Wall i Street Bureau of The Journal)
New York, June 1 . Traders ia the dry goods
market today watched the course of tbe raw
stapla closely and the business done was in small
lota. Prices, however, were firmly bold with
sellers disinclined to accept any bids H of a
cent below current quotations. Sheetings were
more active than print cloths and some choice
grades brotarbt f igures slightly above the market.
Sattens were in demand and some business was
recorded la drills, twills and'pafama check. Some
lines of denims - have been withdrawn from the
market until, late in July and material for work
shirts fas q g-oed demand.
Manufacturer, seem to have filled their re
quirements for raw silk pretty fully and tne
market was dull with business small.
