college, and we have met tHe entire ex
pense of operating' jthe collega duriDff the

college course as compared with 161 last

comes from ' Oregon Agricultural col
lege ; Prof essor Richard C. Spencer, who
will have'charge.-of a new department of
political and , social science and busi-j
ness administration and who comes from
Pacific university ;, Miss Delos M. James
of Chicago university, who will have
charge of the department of biology and
geology Miss Anna L. Beebe, graduate
of Northwestern university; who will
have chargelof thejvolce departmnt, and
Miss Alice. Clement, who also comes
from Northwestern i university, and who
will be deafl ,of the eonservatory of
music and teacher of piano. ? Miss Clem
ent was for five years' director of the
conservatory of music of Albany col
lege. There Is to be a new department
of chemistry, the professor of ..which will
be announced soon after the, close of our
school year. We will have next year
the strongest faculty in the history of

Oak Grove Community club will stage a
joint entertainment at Oak Grove
school house this evening. Between num
bers John Julian will rurnish a radio

For a home talent comedy, "Waiting
