Miaa NeUia M. Curtlss, superintendent of
the Portland Deaconess jiome, went to
Seattle Monday to attend annual meet
ing of the general deaconess board of
the Methodist Episcopal church and also
to learn the names of the church lead
ers who will visit Portland Thursday.
Several of the denominational leaders
who came west to attend this meeting
will return through Portland. A lunch
eon is being arranged In their honor for
Thursday noon at the Hotel Seward.
Reservations may be made by calling
tha deaconess home. Miss Curtlss ex
pects to return Wednesday.

Dance For Qaeea Caadldate Southern
