... Sacks Are Stolen

Two sacks of registered mail rrom De
troit were stolen from the depot here to
day. Sheriff James Butler and a half
doaen deputies are on the trail of the
robbers. The mail was thrown from
the Detroit train shortly after S o'clock
last night It was taken Into the depot
and the depot locked for the night. The
loss was discovered when the station was
opened this morning.

French Delegate
Returns to Paris
Paris, Feb. 21. Albert Sarraut, bead
of the irrencn delegation to the arms
conference, arrived in Paris Monday aft
ernoon and was given 'a tremendous
ovation. M. Sarraut went Immediately to
the foreign oilice to make a report to
Premier Polncare and after bis visit with
the premier went to the Champs Elysee
to call upon President , Mlllerand.
