Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson, dean of girls of
the Franklin high school, also vouched
for the proper conduct of dances at
Franklin.
Mrs. Jessie A. Skinner, representing
the principal of Jefferson high school,
vouched for the dances held there.
Principal Hugh Boyd of Washington

"At no time has checking of corsets

said.; "W have no check rooms. Hats
and coats are placed on tables. We are
willing and Invite the cooperation of

Mrs. Gertrude S. Orahame, dean -of

never been aa un chaperoned dance nor

Director Woodward asked Dr. Wilson
to state the school where the corset epi

Director Woodward returned to the

that girls 12 or IS years old could be

the older girls would not tell the truth
