Market street, took two shots at a

In Wallowa national forest, according
to N. J. BUUngs, supervise? for that
district, who recently completed a survey
of the wild life in that domain. In
additioB to the deer there were 240
bears. 249 elk and 70 sheep registered
with their plases of residence and
family record. -
This census was taken by districts
and was received today at the head
quarters ef the state game commission.
The report is as follows : District No. L
60 deer, 12 elk, 30 mountain sheep and
ioe bears i district No. S, 350 deer, 7
elk, 20 moan tain sheep and B0 bears;
districts No. I and 4, 2000 deer, no elk,
20 mountain sheep and (0 beans i dis
trict No. S, ISO deer, 225 elk, no sheep
and 20 bears, and district No. C, 75 oeer,
6 elk, no sheep and 20 bear.
