All of the officers and all but (wo of the directors of the Pacific International Livestock -tsxposition were reelected Monday afternoon at the annual meet ing of the officers and board of direc tors F. S. Stlmaon of Hollywood, Wash., who has done much toward making the 1921 show what it is, was unanimously reelected president after a vote of thanks waa given him and his staff for the present show. The two dierctors not reelected were T. S. Glide of Davis, Cal., and E. O. Selway of Dillon. Mont Elected In their places were Oswald West of Portland and C N. Hawkins of San Francisco, president of the California National Livestock show. LATER XEXT TEAE Tentative dates for next year's show were given as November 11 to 18. or one week later than this year. These dates were chosen with the understanding that the California National Livestock show dates would be October 21 to 28, and the Western Royal Livestock show dates at Spokane, November 4 to 9. In clusive. Stimson In his address stated that oul of the capitalisation of $400,000, the ex position had sold $299,575 in stock, leav ing $100,425 unsold. The directors re cently authorized a $200,000 bond Issue on the property to erect new buildings for this year. Out of these bonds $126,' 000 worth have been sold. Stimson said the improvements would make it neces sary to sell $24,000 more bonds. 117,000 FEOM C05CESSI05S The exposition will receive $17,000 this year from concessions, it was stated, which will take car of the interest on the bonda The expenses this year have been shown to be well within the bud' get and as the receipts for the first three days this year exceeded those of last year the board reported that finan cially the exposition Is in splendid shape As soon as all debts on present build' ings are paid, money received over ex penses will be used to make additional improvements, it was announced, as the exposition is run on the non-profit shar ing basis to the stockholders. Evidence that has caused abandonment of any theory that Pete Beebe, held for the alleged murder of John and William Painter on their ranch, near La comb, October IS. may have been the tool of a "master mind," has been found, according to District Attorney L. G. Lewelling. While the evidence la of a minor Im portance and its precise nature was not mads public, Lewelling said he has become convinced that Beebe is alone guilty. The district attorney has acquired knowledge, he said, that Beebe has. dur ing his life-long residence In the Lacomb and Crabtree neighborhoods, conducted himself shrewdly and In no manner as would a half-witted person. This, the district attorney said, would account for the strange story the prisoner told and for his alterations when, confronted with proof that in many Instances he had not told the truth. Beebe still maintains his Innocence. He has become accustomed to his tail environment Contract for New Courthouse Signed Cathlamet, Wash Nov. 8- The county commissioners of Wahkiakum county awarded thai contract for construction of a' new courthouse at Cathlamet to C. F. Martin of Seattle, lowest of eight bidders.
