Bonham, inspector in chief of the Port
land district of the Immigration service, -took
a day off Wednesday and went
a-blackberrying along the Salmon river
in Clarke county.. Five gallons was the
result of the day's outing. , Bonham
states the berries were in their prime a
week ago and v,-hile there were lots of
them left the dried berries found on the
bushes indicate the crop wasted.
