Police Go to Rescue Girl in River; Find A Red Haired Bull This is a sequel to the story of the gray horse , and the - red haired girl. But the -animal In this story is a red haired bulU. And the girl Is only imaginary. An imaginative citizen, excited and with eyes that saw . a tragic picture In the muddy water called the police late Friday afternoon "and told them to send a rescue party for a woman that was floating down the river. The harbor patrol boat was cruising far down the river. So motorcycle po lice from headquarters shoved off from shore in a row boat. They threw out the lifeline and took the body in tow. It. was a water soaked bull,, about two years old, say the, police, and quite dead. ' Crowds lined the north side of the Broadway bridge to witness the ma nuevers of the police skiff. They saw a policeman release the rope from the bull and watched it float slowly be neath the bridge some . T-bones for the carp. Open Nights WE HAVE THE ; KNOW1,EO(JE. "mod. esty." The snug, seamed bodice is pic- turesquely true to the late '50s, and the lace sleeve bands also follow this in spiration and make a becoming line with the edge of the' tucker. The bouffant silhouette of the hips is in keeping with the Victorian atmosphere and seems to suggest crinolines and hoops ' without their awkwardness. Printed silk twill or satin broche would also be charming expressions of a long-ago mode revived and adopted to present needs. (Copyricht, 11)21, by The Vogue Co.. New York) FRATERNAL The .
