coffee market At least not bo far as
Portland la concerned. There is every
likelihood that a break will be shown
within a few days at the tnosf because
the lowest priced purchases for a num
ber of years , wlir then be available.

prices for flour despite the severe price
loss in wheat during the last few days.
Consumers are advised that the bigger
buyers are taking advantage of the
present situation.
Potatoes continue at extremely low
prices. Present prospects are that ordi
nary quality will remain low but fancy
potatoes are not very plentiful despite
the big ordinary crop.
Experiments are being carried on In
Denmark with a cattle fodder made of
heather that is dried, ground into flour
and mixed with - blood from slaughter
houses. - , ,
