Before coming here, James Richardson, general manager of student activities at Corvallis, practically concluded arrangements to play the Uni versity ofWashlngton at Corvallis, but whether this? contract will ba carried out remains to be seen.. The application of the University of Southern California was rejected by the conference. Much comment was heard regarding the decision.
