A fight over' compulsory arbitra tion of strikes by the federal gov ernment 'anticipated by members of congress during the approaching ahort session. ' Senator Cuminlns (R.) of lowa4 chair man of the senate tntsVstate commerce committee, said today he would seek to have restored to the transportation act the anti-strike provisions adopted by the senate, but rejected by the house, during the last session. He believes, he added, "a campaign of education" would convince organised labor that the anti-strike, provisions would Insure railroad employes receiv ing a "square deal" In disputes between them and their employers. It is the purpose of the new organiza tion to link up the national parks of the west with a paved highway.
