An Portland schools was reported at the
meeting of the board jof directors ot the
Oregon dairy council! Wednesday-. Di
rector F :1m Shull approved of the serv
ice instituted by the council and said
teachers had found marked improvement
in the children as a result, especially in
-cases of undernourishment. Dr. Edna
Eamea chief medical inspector of the
schools, stated she would cooperate with
the council in establishing; milk stations
in districts Vhere they are needed. At
present, FailinB, ;Couctt, Creston, Terwil
lig;er, Montavilla, Ockiley Green, Shaver,
Buckman and Ilolman schools have milk

Grace Unklater and julia Harrison were
elected as delegates ffom Reed, and they
will lead the conference discussion on
scholarship, standards and vocational,
training. Miss Ltnklater is junior mem
ber of the student council, and Miss Har
rison is vice president of the senior class.
The conference will bring together dele
gates from every institution of -higher
education west of the Mississippi.

Dodson Returning From Washington
