the city of Hlllaboro. The appeal
will be based on a writ of error.

Reclamation Aid Is
Pledged by-McNary

Senatdr Charles L. McNary opened the
campaign in Bepd Tuesday evening
v hen he addressed an audience of more
than 250, people at a Harding; rally In
the gymnasium. He pledged that he
would recommend to the senate the use
of government money in the completion
of the reclamation work of the Benham
Falls reservoir site south of Bend.

Burns post, American Legion, of this
city la making plaria for an elaborate
celebration on Armistice day. Programs
of patriotic nature are being prepared
and the Condon band, recently organ
