Communications be tween banks revealed that the account had itot been accepted here and It was refused at Seattle, where Sternbergh attempted to use the name of Thomas Sheldon. Sternbergh made an unsuc cessful effort to transfer the "Ouy" account here, although it bad not been accepted, to the name of J. M. Hood, supposedly Guy's partner, according to Sternberg's letters to the bank. WIFE WITH PAKEXT9 Sternbergh's wife Is the daughter of Mr. and. Mrs. Andrew R. Thad Roblson, formerly cashier of the Tillamook coun ty bank of Tillamook, reached here Monday afternoon In custody of a dep uty sheriff from Portland to lace a charge of obtaining money under false pretenses. Roblson was arraigned at a speelal sitting of the circuit court. He has not yet been able to furnish the required ball of $10,000.
