Mr( and Mra. T. J. Dorgan hava re
turned from an extended vacation trip
that took them to YeUowstons park. Salt
lke City, Omaha, Denver. Colorado
Springs and Pikes Peak, Mrs. Dorgan
will open her piano atudio tomorrow.
What impressed Mrs. Dorian most on
the trip -was perhaps the scenic wonders
o Yellowstone park. She points out
Canyon hotel as a marvel of beauty of
architecture that surpasses all other ho
tels of the park. And there is the most
wonderful of all points of Interest, she
relates, the canyon, with its wonderful
coloring. - rugged peaks and beautiful
waterfalls. It is supposed to be one of
the grandest ever seen. '
"The bears," she said, "are fed from
the hotel, morning and evening, the grta
Jy, cinnamon and black. There were
four grlssly and IS black bears. The
blacks were very careful pot to come
near the grlsxlles. as any suspicious
move caused the blacks to scamper to
the woods. "" v . ' v
Another most wonderful piece of na
ture is the Mammoth Hot Springs,
formed by terraces of indescribable per
fection and beauty. '
"it is a fact that no region of like size
in the known world can compare with
the Tellowstone national park in point
of natural beauty or magnificence of
scenery. However. I will refute to some
extent the latter, for when our Roosevelt
highway ts completed, which will skirt
the Pacific ocean, it will excel even the
wonders snd beauty of Tellowstone na
tional park."
