Christian Endeavor and Epworth leagues of Portland have set out to collect a car of clothing on October (, nave it properir baled and shipped di rect to Armenia. They also propose to pay the freight to New York city. In order to keep the local fund from being depleted. Members ef the Retail Groc ers' association have agreed to assist the young people by collecting bundles from various homes, just as they did last year. Certain churches are to be used as collecting stations. Similar work has been completed In Kastern states and clothing Is now on the way to Aremenia, according to J. J. Hansaker, state director. Oregon's car should arrive when this is exhausted.
