Local grain men cannot recall a time since long before the war started when flour buyers, bakers, distributors and retailers were so fully convinced that the bottom was going to fall out of ths wheat and flour market as they are at the present time. Millers hsve persistently held off from buy ing wheat, aad flour buyers hsve held off from buying flour. The 1920 crop is ready for de livery, but there srs no buyers in ths field, and s large amount of old crop still remains ia th country warehouses. Car shortage has also pis red hsvoe with wbst little business might hare been transacted, so that dealers fear they will not be able to sell anything on the f. o. b. . shipping point basis.
