The fire started trom sparks falling; on th roof of a frame building: belong- i in to the Pacific Stoneware company at OS Sherlock street. The first alarm wag turned in at 5 :37 and was followed i by two other alarms, calling; out nine en gines., three trucks and two fireboata. Tha fire was confined to the property of tha Pacific Stoneware company with slight damage to lumber sheds of the 1 Northern Pacific Lumber company., Dam- ace to the planttof the stoneware com jany Is estimated at 10,000 by T. a Mann, president of the concern, and the ! damage to the lumber company's prop erty is placed at $200. Mann stated that his company carried 92000 Insurance on the build Ins destroyed and '$2000 on its contents.
