The Oregon Baptist Young People's as
sembly will open Saturday evening at
Gladstone park with an attendance of
several hundred persona from various
parts of the state. The assembly will
continue through until August 29, with
ministers, missionaries and church work

Sunday, join Z ion's Lutheran church in
its annual mission festival. On Sunday,
August 29, Trinity will dedicate 1U new
and beautiful church at Ivy street and
Rodney avenue,- where services will . be
held morning, afternoon and evening. In
the morning the Rev. F. Wester kamp of
Sherwood will preach in German and
the usual dedicatory rites and ceremonies
will be performed by the local pastor.
