STEALS CIGARETTES BY WHOLESALE IN BOXCARS; IN JAIL - Theft of cigarettes In wholesale lots from boxcars in Northern' Pa cific yards during, tbo past few weeks was traced to Frod Lloyd.' ex-convict. Thursday afternoon when he was ar rested, by PolJc Inspectors ; Collins and Cojeman. Lloyd had cached a box of 10,000 cigarettes at Portland Commons on Burnside street. Thurs day morning. When he called for them at 2 o'clock in the afternoon he was arrested and is being held on a charge of larceny.- ; ' - . " The police believe Lloyd le responsible for the theft of 70,000 cigarettes. Sacoatas sav the police a receipt for $60 which he had paid for one lot. He identified . Lloyd as the man who sold him the cigarettes, although John P.
