from Portland from ' June 9 until Sun

McCormick drama of the Canadian
Rockies, concludes its local engagement

title' of a little musical plays ' that
comes as the feature of the new show
which will open, Sunday , afternoon at
Loew's Hippodrome. . It will ' be pre
sented bar naif a dosen singers and

swift moving little fun show with neat
ness and distributing the tuneful trim
mings with effective skill. The comedy
is contributed 1 by Barney Norton, Lo
retta Rollo and Ruth Noble. The girls

NOW THE old H. C. L. is to hit the
sheet music market. The National
Association ef Sheet Music Dealers sat
its seventh annual convention, held re
cently in New Yorbi city, drafted a res
olution calling for a big advance in the
price of their wares.
There 'are about M.000 music dealers
in the United States, according to J. M.
Priaulx. secretary ; of the - association,
wtio. reported that while their business
had been better than ever before, there
was no profit in the sale or sheet music.

thine that has not been, raised in price.
