You are hereby notified: that pursuant
to a resolution of the Bosnl of School
Directors of School District No. 1. Mult
nomsh eonnty, Oregon, a special election
will be held within the" district on Satur
day. the nineteenth day of June. -1920,
to vote trpon the Question of authorizing
th. district to " levy taxes Within . the dis
trict eupon the assessment roll for " the
year 1920. larger by $950,000- (being
approximately a 3-mill levy upon the
sssessed valuation of - said district ) than
the amount limited by the ' Constitution
of the State of Oregon, unless specifically
authorised by a vote of the electors of
'the district, said amount being the amount
necessary in the opinion of the board to
. provide for the purchase- ot necessary sites
and - the erection of school buildings in
various portions of th. district during the
