He was so busy thinking and wondering that he forgot to watch his steps. The result was that, as he hopped out of a bramble-tangle Just ; within the Green Forest, h was all but landed ia some thing worse than the worst brambles that ever grew. It was only by a wild jump to one side that he salved himself. Peter had almost landed right in among the thousand little apears -of Prickly Porky the Porcupine ! It is a great pity, a fellow cannot walk along minding his own business without dan ger of being run Into or Jumped on by heedless harum-scarum chaps like you. He waddled along; a few steps and then "began talking again, more to him self than to Peters T don't see what Old Mother Nature sent for me for this morning. ' I hate a long walk. Tea, sir, I hate a long walk." Petert pricked up his long earaw "I know !" he cried. "You are going to school. Prickly Porky. Old Mother Na ture has sent for you to come to school. Many: of the acts are absolutely new, others have clever new features and the tumbling act. without which' no vaude ville program is complete, is so daring and so well done that it is received with spontaneous applause. "You'd Be Surprised", with f Billy Zeck, Gladys Randolph and Jack O'M al ley. In a little one act playlet of clever lines and situations, kept the audience in gales of laughter.
