Riddle won the suit brought by citizens to re strain the highway commission from locating the Pacific highway from Myrtle creek to Canyonvllle, - via a cutoff leaving I Riddle entirely off the highway, f f Judge Skip-worth handed down a de cision to this effect Wednesday which declares that the highway commission has no right to abandon routes desig nated by the legislature and that, al though it has the power to make local changes to eliminate grades and curves, an 'entire route cannot be abandoned when the road was originally declared part of the Pacific highway.
