One has aeen many cases where fenders, bent j through collisions or some other acci dent, have been ' overlooked in the ex citement. ' Xt does not take many turns of he wheel under such conditions to ruin a: tire. In some cases,: the fender of the' unloaded car does not touch the tire. But as soon as passengers get in the rear seat the tender drops down and drags on the tire. A tew dollars spent In fender repairs will save several times the coat of the repair in tire service.
