Special Music Arranged
Episcopal clergymen of Portland have
made every effort to make Easter a
glad day in their parishes. Church
choirs and the children of the Bible
schools have prepared special munlc,
which will be recited at the various
services Communion will also be cele
brated in all churches at the appointed
hours. Churches have also been elab
orately decorated with Easter lilies and
palms to add color to the celebration.
Kaster is also the day on which Epis
copal children open their mite boxes
and present their Lenten offerings to
the missionary cause of the denomina
tion. The Right Rev. Walter Taylor
Sumner, bishop of Oregon, preaches at
11 a. m. Sunday at the Pro-Cathedral
of St. Stephen the Martyr
St. 8taphena Pro-Cathedral
Services on Easter Sunday will be held at the
Pro-Cathedral as follows: Holy communion at
8:80 a. m. and 11 a. m. and at 7:45 p. m.
The Ht, Rev. Walter Taylor Sumner, D.I.,
bishop of the diocese, will preach at the 11
o clock service. The Young People s society
will meet at 6:30 p. m. in the Parish house.

trial between the entire county and
