for the United States have just passed, and as we look back
we realize what a large . part the Pacific Northwest has had
in this. Wages have been high, few. men were unemployed,
many new industries have been developed, while the old
ones cannot supply the demand for goods.
A bank must always reflect the community prosperity and so
the Ladd & Tilton Bank, which this last year celebrated its
,60th birthday, has had its adequate share in the development
of this section. Let the figures below speak for themselves:
Deposits November 1, 1918 ...... $19,789,155.01
Deposits November 17, 1919 . . , ... . 26,457,378.40
Savings Department, November 1, 1918 . . $6,433,949.07
Savings Department, November 17, 1919 . . 7,841,568.22
0
The depositors in the savings department a year ago were,
in round numbers, 10,000; for the year 1919, 12,000.
Ladd & Tilton Bank tenders best wishes for the new year to
the many hundreds of persons who are already making use of
the service extended by this pioneer bank It also solicits the
accounts of new residents and others who may be seeking a
strong modern bank with which to affiliate themselves.
