under Professor S. B. Fitts, is arrang

ment and Interest a contest in oratory.

at the Portland hotel Tuesday night,

now confronting Portland.
The Greeters also pledged themselves
to go the limit in assisting the poor on
Christmas day. Twelve families who are
unable to provide the Christmas cheer
for themselves will receive baskets and
donations from these Good. Samaritans.
The families are large ones, too, most
of them,-with, children ranging; from 1
to 13 years. .
