One of the moat successful banquets
held during th past month was given
hf the Robinson-Smith eomoanr. local
Ford dealers, to their entire start, in the
Tyrolean room of the Benson hotel, Mon
day evening. December 15. Forty-five
employes were present.
; As one of the features of the banquet,
beside the excellent turkey that adorned
the board; was the presentation by Mr,

pany's Detroit plant. -

"A dollar and a half la too much to
pay for a duck when you have to pro
vide the lake n'everythtng," ,says Vic
Unden, one of .those regular guys who
rent' duck lakes. After getting' the wa
ter to fill the lake, buying food for the
ducks, and getting the ducks, he dis

circles has earned for him the . reputa
tion of being one of the most able serv
ice - men In- this part o the country,
Mr. Stantoh Is a trustee of the- Port
land Garaga and Repairmen's associa
tion. . ;
The Sunset ElectTle company "has let
the contract for the erection of a new
bonding that will be one of the largest
and best equipped of its kind in these
parts. - . The new building will cover the
entire too foot frontage on Glisan street,
between "Ninth and Tenth streets, and
will have a depth of J00 feet, an area of
10,000 square feet.'' The cost- of the
building will be approximately SS5.000.
