Va., Oct. 18.--Drinking of hair , tonic is being discouraged here. Two barbers have already died from the effects of partaking of the liquid. That disapproval of the League of Na tions by the G A- R. at jits recent con vention in ' Columbus came only- after scenes suggestive of a drunken mob and announcement' from the chair that any discussion f , that topic was out of place. In. the convention. Hen derson said. , i . 0PP0JTE5TS FULLY AGREE "I opposed discussion of that Question as out of place. - J cannot: be accused of partisanship, as the secretary of the resolutions committee also opposed such a topic reaching the floor. "I wanted to speak against the reso lution but could not get the chance, l gave It up when I saw 20 or 30 othei speakers trying to get the floor. It was like a drunken mob.
