To Mamie Rogerson, the above named defendant:
IN THE NAME OF THE STATE OF OR
EGON, you are hereby required to answer tha
complaint filed againnt you in the above entitled
suit, or make other defense therein, on or be
fore October 12th, 1918. that being more than
six weeks after the date of the first publication
of this summons, and If you fail to answer or
make other defenne to plaintiff's complaint filed
herein, the plaintiff will apply to the court for :
the relief demanded therein, to-wlt: I
A decree from the above entitled court forever
dissolving the marriage contract heretofore and ',
now existing between plaintiff ana aetenasm
herein, and for the care, custody and control of
the twa minor children. Zoe Rogerson and Julia
Hogerson. and for such other and further relief
as to the court may seem meet and equitable.
This summons Is made and published pursuant
to an order of the Hon. Robert Tucker, Judge
of the above entitled court, made and entered on
August 27th. 191H.

OF EQUALIZATION.
Notice la hereby given that on Monday, Sep
tember 9. 1918. the Board of Equalization of
Multnomah County will attend at the office of
the county assessor, at the courthouse In Port
land, and publicly examine the assessment rolls
for the year 1918, and correct all errors in
valuation, description or qualities of lands, lota
or other property, assessed by the county as
sessor. And it shall be the duty of persona in
terested to appear at the time and place ap
pointed. If it shall appear to such Board of
Equalisation that there are any lands or lota
cr other property assessed twice, or incorrectly
assessed as to description or quantity, and in
' the name' of a person or persons not the owner
thereof, or assessed under or beyond the actual
cash valne thereof, said board may make proper
correction of tha same. If tt shall appear to
such board that any land, lota or other prop
erty assessable by tba assessor are not assessed,
soeh board shall assess tha tarns at tba full cash
value thereof.
