Seth Chester Cadman, son of Mr.
and Mrs. George W. Cadman Of
735 Instey avenue, Portland, who en
listed In St. Louis with the marine
corps January S, 1917, is among those
reported today severely wounded in ac
tion in France. He was born in Omaha.
Neb., and had been engaged in farming
and cattle business in Wyoming just
previous to his enlistment. Hla father
and mother moved to Portland about 15
years ago. They have another son liv
ing in Iowa and a daughter in Topeka,
Kansas.
Notification of the wounding of their
son reached Mr. and Mrs. Cadman this
morning. No details were given, beyond
that he waa severely hurt fighting On
the French front June 6.
