"No doubt," says this paper, "the

was one of the highest artistic interest
quite on its own merits. Father Finn
is certainly one of the best choirmasters

Father Finn, but for the most part the

the ease and purity of tone sustained

Refreshments at the Reception
IT took a long time to revive Mrs.
Jimmy, who was bleeding and severe
ly wounded, when QulUy, the Porcupine,
tried to, shake hands w(th the Bride.
And you remember . that Qullly fell all
over himself and also all over the Bride,
when he tried to shake hands.
Qullly was not to ted to receptions, and
since he lost his wife, he had not gone
much into society. It took a long time
to pull all the Porcupine quills out of
the flesh ot Mrs. Jimmy. But Teddy
Possum was master ot ceremonies; and
he was very skillful In giving "First Aid
to the Injured" In fact, Teddy Possum
was a Possum Boy Soout, and he had
taken many lessons In giving "First Aid
to the Injured." .And In the commotion
a bowl of punch waa upset on the pol
ished hardwood floor of the Coon Draw
ing Room; but. the guests were very
handy with the mops, and soon the floor
was spick and span.
You know that each guest always
takes along a mop, when he is invited
out. And when , they saw the .blood of
the Bride on the polished hardwood
floor, they mopped up the floor in a
Jiffy with these mops their tongues.
And I'm sorry to say that Bobby Skunk
and Teddy Possum had an awful fight
to see who could lap up the most punch.
- And soon refreshments were passed.
You know, most of the guests came
only for the refreshments. Just as it
often is among us. The waiters passed
around fish for refreshments.
And Teddy Possum and Qullly Porcu
pine had planned an Immense Joke on
Great Grandpa Snapping Turtle. Mr.
Snapping Turtle waa very old and very
fat and very cross. When Great Grand
pa Tuftle saw those Trout and Pickerel,
he was bound to stuff himself at the
reception. But Just as Great Grandpa
Turtle grabbed a big trout, Teddy Pos
sum nudged Qullly to get busy with his
huge Joke on Mr. Turtle.
Great Grandpa Turtle started to go
out of the door with his big Trout in

And Great Grandpa Turtle couldn't

Cocoanut Oil Make
A Splendid Shampoo
If you want to kerp your hair in good
condition, be careful what you wash it
with.
Most soaps and prepared shampoos
contain too much alkali. This dries the
scalp, makes the hair brittle, and is very
harmful. Just ,plaln mulalfled cocoanut
oil (which Is pure and entirely grease
less). Is much better than the most ex
pensive soap or anything else yow can
use for shampooing, as this can't, pos
sibly Injure the hair.
Simply moisten your hair with water
and rub It In. One or two teaupoonfuls
-1U make an abundance ot rich, creamy
lather, and cleanses the hair and scalp
thoroughly. The lather rinses out easily,
and removes every particle of r dust,
dirt, dandruff and excessive oil. The
hair dries quickly and evenly, and It
leaves it fine and silky, bright, fluffy
and easy to manage.
Tou can get mulalfled cocoanut oO at
