' Philadelphia, April 12.(t. N. S.) .fir unanimous vote of the delegates to the special congress of the National German American alliance, it wan de cided Thvmday to disband th organisa tion. The delegates alao voted to donate SIO.000 of the alliance's funds to the American Red Cross. - The' formal dissolution will take place this afternoon In the assembly hall of the Philadelphia Turngemeinde. Thursday's meeting;, which was held behind closed floors., lasted nearly four hours. Representatives of ,10 states were present and three others wererep resented by proxy, making a quorum. The decision to disband was an nounced in the following statement, giv en out after the meeting: "It was the sense of those present to dissolve the alliance, but the action could not be taken until tomorrow, as rf , - -' . -1 ... . ... . some financial matters bad to be finally settled before effective dissolution could be taken.". - , Max Henrtchi, editor of the German Sunday Gazette of Philadelphia, - the only! noli-member present at the meet ing, said : ( .
