The' structure at Thirteenth and Ever ett streets, owned by the Oregon Trans fer company, has been taken over. This gives the warehouse company a total of about 200,000 square feel, leases already having been obtained on the John Deere building. In East Morrison street, and the Pacific, Steel Hardware building at Twenty-second and Nicolai streets. According to E. W. Rumble, manager of the Columbia Basin Wool Warehouse company, the season's wool outlook Is exceptionally good.- Tie said: j "The unusually mild winter has pro duced an exceptionally fine quality of wool. The price for the fine quality now, ranges from 44 to 60 cents. The croaa-bred variety ranges from 4$ "to 68 cents. I expect to see an advance in price of about 5 cents on the season's crop. ' "The demand for wool products, owinr to the war needs. Is heavy, and the lack ' c oi adequate transportation will prevent the . usual quantity of Imported wool from coming into competition with the home product. "Market conditions are good because there is little or no speculation In wool these days. The same cannot : be said of yarns, and I would not be surprised to aee government control of the latter product." . j- j .
