yeara old. pioneer merchant of Baker,
died Monday afternoon. He was a na
tive of Germany and came to the Unit
ed States in 1864. . Later, he went to
California and Washington and located
here in 1887, organizing the M. Weil
company,- now Baker's largest mercan
tile establishment. Mr. Weil had not
taken an active part in the business for Since 1912 Mr. Clark has been connect'
