The world's series between the tiiants
and White Sox will open in Chicago on
October . The second game'Will also
be played in the western city on Sun-
day, October 7. i , ,
The third and fourth games wilt be
nlaved in New York on October 0 and
10 and should the fight for the title
then run into six games, the series will
run into the following week.
The fifth game will be -played In
Chicago October 12. This is Friday.
No attemDt will be made to Jump to
New Tork for a Saturday game, and
should a sixth game be necessary it
will not be played until Monday. Oc
tober 16. Sunday ball is not permitted
in New York.
