memory of Mrs. Mary Elisabeth Todd
Burnett, wife of Rev. P. R. Burnett,
pioneer clergyman, who passed away
at her home here at the age of 67
years. Her maiden name was Mary
Elizabeth Todd. She waa born in An
drew county. Mo., February 8, 1849.
In 1865 the family settled on the farm
one and one-half miles west of Mc
MinnviUe, where on October 14, 1866.
she was married to Peter R. Burnett.

Monday evening, were held yesterday
afternoon at the chapel of Brazee &
Snooks' undertaking: establishment.

tery. Mrs. Delane was the widow of
James Delane, a veteran of the Civil
war, and a -member of the First Wis
consin artillery, who died here a vear
ago. She had been a resident of Port
land for the past five years and had a
large circle of friends. She ia survived
by three children, W. B. Delane of
Spray, Or.; Mace Delane of Astoria, an i
Mrs. J. A. Prudhomme of Portland,
also a sister, Mrs. E. C. Carpenter of
Spokane, and a brother, E. Finney of
