Or., ' June J4.--The Moose lodge of this city has started the sub scription list with 25 to raise funds to equip the Radiators drum corps, to be made up of boys whose ages range from six to 15 years of age. Harvard Makes Clean Sweep of River Races New London, Conn., June 23. (U. P.) Harvard made a clean sweep of the annual regatta with Yale yester day when the Crimson varsity eight won the final race of the day by four lengths from the Blue crew. Time, 20:02. Earlier in the day Harvard fresh men and the Junior varsity had tri umphed over Yale in somewhat easy fashion. Yale fought hard in the var sity, but was outclassed. Passing the mile post and stretch ing steadily down the course. Harvard gradually assumed the lead, and at the two mile post was a good two lengths in front. Yale came too close to the flag po sition at the two mile post and hit the pole with their oars. This threw them turther behind. The Blue crew quickly recovered, and quickening their stroke appeared to pick up somewhat. Harvard, how e er, was rowing a steady, strong stroke, and Yale gained very slowiy. Yale's spurt was short lived and the Crimson had a big lead as the crews reared the tliree mile post. Yale was game and stuck right to the last notch. The Crimson eight, however, applied more power and drew away from the blue. The American record is held by Cor nell, with the time of 18:53 1-5 for the leur miles.
