Information was received today by the I.iiiuiermeiis Trust company, purchaser of the $400,000 water bonds of the city of Pocatello, Idaho, that the water plant owned by James A. Murray has been purchased by the city for $350,000. This disposes of a long siege of litigation between' the water company and the city over serv ice, rates and franchises, and was mad possible by the, purchase of the city's bonds by the Lumbermens Trust corn puny. The United States court of appeals, sitting at Han Francisco, In a decision 'handed down some time ago, decided that the company had forfeited lta franchise.
