Plans for the erection of ft building
for the use -of the Sisters of the Good
Shepherd, In the Piedmont distrlof,
have been -revived. Jacobberger &
Bmlth, the architects who prepared the
plans, are receiving bids on the cost of
construction. If the figures are not
too high, work will proceed at once.
The project was begun almost two
years ago. Active construction was
postponed because of the financial un
certainty that prevailed on the break
ing out of the wan The complete
plana call for the erection of a four
story, fireproof structure near the cor
ner of Dekum avenue and Congress
street, of colonial design, to cost $125,
000. The materials to be used will be
brick and concrete and general fire
proof construction. 4
It Is now proposed to erect all but
one wing of the building, or two thirds
of the original plans. The estimated
cost of the present work is $90,000. It
will contain dormitories, chapel and
reception halls.
Pull details will be announced In a
few days.

Milwaukle to Itulkl Bchool.
Milwaukle, Or., May 23. The $20,000
school bond Issue of the Milwaukle
district, raying a premium of 1211,
voted at a special election for the erec
tion of a new eight room school, has
been taken by( Morris Bros., of Port
land. Tentative plans have been pre
pared. They call for a one story build
ing. It Is the intention of the direc
tors to have the school ready to be oc
cupied in the fall.

to the warehouse and ntorage build
ing occupied by Armour & Co., at
Thirteenth and Flanders streets. Th3
