Kisher tried to make a cut off at second on Schaller, but Vaughn unwit tingly got his feet mixed up with those of Schaller, and Fisher's good peg went unmolested into the outfield, Steen tallying. A thing tl.2 Seals have been "well taught and which they execute extraordinarily well. HlgglnTootham Makes Woeful Throw. Jones hit sharply to Htggy and that worthy had Coffey trapped off second, but he made a woeful throw to Hol locher and all hands were safe. Brooks grounded down to Guisto and Hlg went over to cover first. He had to sprint so hard that he couldn't turn around in time to get Coffey at the plate, ac cording to Bill Guthrie, but to a lot of tans it. looked as if the venerable Jack had been touched out as he slid into the obioul. Inasmuch as the Beavers were a lot of runs behind, there was no great kick on the decision. The battle Was fought between showers and at its termination little drops of hail fell all about.
