Future of the Scandinavians in America-'
will be the topic for a lecture to
night by Professor J. O. Hall of the
Willamette university at the Young
Woman's Christian Association audi
torium. Professor Hall has delivered
a series of lectures at this place, this
being the fifth of the series. Pro
fessor Hall came to the Willamette
university last year from Columbia
university of New York, where lie wa
a teacher for many years.
Emll Seldel, former Socialist mayor
of Milwaukee, Wis., will speak on his
administration at Arion hall, 2nd and
Oak tts., tonight. He will tell nis au
dience why the citizens of Milwaukee
will again turn over the city adminis

Boy' Kurt in a Pall. Darrell Perry,
13 years old, of 1599 Chautauqua bou
levard, fell down some iron steps lead
ing to the basement of the Peninsula
theatre on Killlngsworth street, last
night, receiving several bad cuts about
the fare and head. He was taken to
the office of Dr. G. E. Anderson, where
the injuries were attended, and he was
then removed to his home. '
