Mayor Albee said this morning- that

case at length and said that there
as nothing brought out in the In
vestigation which would warrant the

It is believed that the resolution will

considerable feeling has been evidenced

were declared to have unearthed evi
dence tending to show that the Pan
ama canal was included in the con
templated olnts of attack.

will today begin investigations of a
widespread plot to smuggle cruil rub
ber out of New York for the German

Is Dead in Arizona

Attracted to King-man by Reports of
Mining Boom.
Katlif Boone Curry, who died last
Sunday In the new mining camp of
Kingman, Ar:z., of pneumonia, was a
son of George L. Curry, territorial gov
ernor Of Oregon. He was attracted
to Kingman by the reports of a mining
boom received from friends and went
there about three months ago with the
intention of engaging in mining.
Mr. Curry was born on December 7,
1850, at the old Boone place, opposite
the place now known as Wilsonville,
Or. Mr. Curry occupied a number of
positions under the city and county ad
ministrations, but for the past four
years had not been actively engaged.
He was a photographer, and had fol-
I lowed that as a means of livelihood at
j different times.
i He is survived by three brothers:
George L. Curry, W. L. Curry and Xor
I wood L. Curry, all of this city. The
I body wiiLbe interred at Kingman, Ariz.
