has been aroused by the personality of

Many questions have, been asked as to
the constant Journeying between Lon

American citizen named George Moore,
who apparently 1 a financier, whose
chief claim to recognition seems to lie
In -his acquisition of the Interests of a
Mr. Lowenf eld, an unnaturalized Ger
man, In a concern known as the In- J

"This person is understood to be on
terms of intimacy with Sir John
French, It seems extremely undesir
able that a private citizen of a neutral
country should be afforded such ex
ceptional facilities for knowing the in
nermost secrets f the campaign,
"I should not have dwelt on this
matter had there not been a disposi

John French at the expense of Lord
Kitchener."
The George Moore mentioned In the
article is Gordon Mbore, an American
financier, who gained fame by the de

owners of public utilities in Georgia,
Nebraska, Canada, Brazil and else
where. During the last three or four
years Moore has made many friends in
London social .circles.
