A. F. Bittner, professor of mathematics tyi Jefferson high school, discussed "Thte Mental Preparation of the Grade Graduates." "The j Purpose of Mathematics" was the subject dis cussed by C R. Honoway.j of the Washington hp gh school, while C. W. Alderson spoe on the relation of commercial arithmetic to that taught in the grammar grades. ; t "Will Explain "Oregon System."
