This venerable man and woman were lucky to find a comfortable home in England when the fortunes of war compelled them to flee
their native land, where they had lived their lives in peace and contentment for many, many years.

DUTCH RED CROSS AMBULANCES
Although attached to the Dutch army, these ambulances have performed a humane service since the war began in the transportation of
feeble and crippled Belgians from the war zone to places of safety in The Netherlands.
