"Some Easter eggs I'll find."
So off he went, and Snooks and Sue
' Just followed on behind. "

And soon , they saw a nest of eggs
Before them on the gtound.
Said Snicks, "About two weeks ago
This nest of eggs 1 found.

wAnd kept it secret all this time,
Just so that mother dear
Could have some eggs, and be surprised,
When Easter time was. here."

A bright and sunny day,

They did not know a hen had sat'
For three weeks on that nest
And hoto surprised were all to finc
The sun's rays did the rest! 1 ,
